Yes! Terrashroom is designed for use by complete beginners & novices. The companion smartphone app walks you through every step and your terrashroom will automate the rest - no green thumb required!
What mushrooms can you grow in a terrashroom?
You can grow a wide variety of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms that are believed to promote your mental and physical health. You can also grow your other exotic mushrooms at home by setting custom conditions tailored to the exact species you want to grow.
How do I select the mushrooms I want to grow?
After you order your terrashroom, we will send you an email with specific instructions on the types of mushrooms you want to grow with your terrashroom. After that, it's easy to re-order additional mushroom grow blocks through our app.
How long does it take to grow mushrooms?
This depends on the variety of mushrooms you're trying to grow but generally anywhere from 1-3 weeks.
What are the mushroom grow cakes made of?
The mushroom grow cakes are produced by our partner, North Spore. They use a variety of natural, plant-based materials that are USDA Certified Organic.
Can I use a terrashroom without the app?
Terrashroom is a smart device that requires the free iOS or Android app to operate.
Is terrashroom easy to clean?
Absolutely. We've designed the terrashroom to be simple to clean with rubbing alcohol or other household cleaners.
What if I'm away from home?
Terrashroom is fully automated so you don't need to babysit your mushroom grows. It will provide the perfect humidity, air flow, and temperature while your away. We've also designed it so you can check on your mushrooms through the embedded camera for remote monitoring.
